Grandpa's tapes — a family archive of 1960s opera recordings

外公留下二十一盤盤式錄音帶，約六十三小時的戲曲錄音 — 大部分是一九六〇年代的潮劇電影原聲，也有其他劇種。 這些帶子是他當年從棄物中撿回來的，恰好是他的家鄉戲。 這裏把它們保存下來，給家人，也給所有想念這些聲音的人。

Twenty-one reels, about sixty-three hours: mostly Teochew opera film soundtracks of the early 1960s. He found them discarded — recordings, as it happened, in his own dialect — and saved them. Preserved here for the family, and for anyone who misses these voices.
